Arthur Mijares – Director of Youth Services

Arthur spend a large part of his youth in Pasadena, CA. He had been in and out of the court system since the age of 13. He attended Marshall Fundamental, Pasadena High School, Rose City High School, and Foothill Probation School but was never able to graduate with his class. He was in prison for 15 years.

Arthur received his GED while incarcerated and used that to obtain his High School Diploma at Pasadena City College’s extension center. He received his Associates degree in Psychology.

Arthur is dedicated to working with children and youth of all age groups. He is an active participant in Baldwin Park’s Early Education Program.

Arthur is a father of 7. He enjoys being an active father. He plays handball on his free time.
